A forest fire trick nears 100 million views for Fahim skills
The week's only new upload was a survival bucket built in the woods, and it passed 45,000 views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Fahim skills built a bucket this week. "Bushcraft skills: Smart Trick to Make a Survival Bucket" was the channel's single upload, a short in the style the channel's about page promises: water, fire, shelter and the small tricks of getting by outdoors. It drew most of its views on its first day and has been ticking along quietly since.
The real weight sits further back in the catalog. "Bushcraft skills: Smart Trick to Handle Forest Fire," posted 86 days ago, is now fewer than a million views short of 100 million, and it still brings in more daily viewers than anything else on the channel. A second fire video, "Smart Tricks to Stop a Forest Fire," two months old, follows it, and a homemade waterproof gumboot from late summer is still finding people too. Fire, it seems, is this channel's subject of choice.
The whole channel ran slower than its usual pace, yet it still added more than nine million views and about 7,000 subscribers over the seven days, the most views of any outdoors and homesteading channel near its size. TN Gardening and Dave Mercer also had busy weeks, More Than Farmers ran well above its own norm, and KENDRICK Survival Skills stayed very quiet.
