Why this story? The video is running at 83,818 views a day, 8.6 times its usual pace (9,756).

POV: It’s boyfriends training season 💜

The humans are the ones who need training here. Elie's owner lays a harness flat, guides the cat's front paws into it and pulls it up to fasten around her chest. Then the friends get their turn.

The short has picked up about 84,000 views in a day, more than eight times its usual daily pace, despite being over a week old. That burst accounts for most of its views so far.

Elie's channel has long cast the neighbors as her feline "boyfriends." This time, that running joke comes with a practical assignment. Her owner demonstrates in a purple hoodie, repeats the lesson while another man watches from the couch, and lets the pupils work through the process themselves. A black plaid harness gives way to a bright pink one.

There is no spoken instruction. Dua Lipa's "Training Season" supplies the joke, while the opening text explains that Elie likes dressing up and the boys need to learn how.

In the comments, viewers notice the little pats Elie gets after the harness goes on. Others want to know where the outfits came from: the training session doubles as a tiny wardrobe showcase.
