Rory McIlroy birdies consecutive holes to draw level at the top, but Jon Rahm has a bigger move waiting. A long eagle putt on the 11th sends the Spaniard into the outright lead at the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship, and another birdie immediately follows.

"Like shelling peas, isn't it? Three under for his last two holes," says the commentator. Rahm makes putting look rather simpler than it usually feels.

That burst is the centrepiece of DP World Tour's third-round highlights, which drew roughly 230,000 views in eleven hours, far beyond the channel's usual start for a regular video. In the comments, viewers are picking their contenders: Adam Scott's presence gets attention alongside support for Rahm, McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton and Francesco Laporta.

Laporta supplies the early pace, while Scott rolls in a birdie and Matthew Jordan makes his own move. But Rahm keeps finding gains on the back nine, including another birdie at the 15th. He finishes a shot ahead of Laporta and Hatton, with McIlroy a further stroke back.

His assessment is less effortless than the commentary makes it sound. "It was a good day overall. Just, the holes 4, 5, and 6 got a little bit away from me for a second there," Rahm says afterwards.

McIlroy also has a separate, unusually busy upload on the channel: "Can Rory McIlroy Hit A Green From A Moving Boat?" It swaps the fairway for a floating platform, moving him progressively farther from Yas Links' closing green with each successful attempt.
