A $20,000 Sprinter estimate, a used BMW V8 and a new truck's cam at Dave's Auto Center
The Centerville, Utah, family shop also sent an 8.9-liter Cummins into a full teardown, billed as only Part 1.

This Sprinter Came In With a Small Leak… And a $20,000 Estimate
Dave's Auto Center spent the week doing what the family-run Centerville shop does on camera: opening things up to see what is really wrong. Five videos went up, and nearly every one starts with a mystery.
The first was a Sprinter van that came in with what looked like a small leak and a quote, from somewhere else, of about $20,000. The description says that figure did not sound right to the shop, so the team slowed down and inspected everything before replacing anything. Given that the shop advertises its own crew of Sprinter mechanics, it is a fitting case to lead with, and it has passed 430,000 views.
Then came the heavy metal. Dave and JJ took apart an 8.9-liter Cummins that was shipped in for inspection and kept finding more trouble the deeper they went. It is labeled Part 1, so the rest of the story is still on the bench. Later in the week a BMW N62 V8, in for a rebuild, became a lesson on what to check before buying a used engine from a salvage yard. That one drew close to 200,000 views on its first day.
The newest upload, on why the shop is changing the cam in a brand-new 2026 truck, has picked up speed fastest of all in its first hours, and last week's Ford 6.7 Power Stroke boost-leak video is still busy too.
Overall the channel ran a little below its usual daily pace. Among car channels of similar size, Hoovies Garage and Clearview Driving are the ones running well above their norm, while several others, LegitStreetCars and BoostedBoiKyle among them, are quieter than usual.
