ClawBoss trades arcade prizes for a week of workshop puzzles
Ten uploads cover drum brakes, police-car repairs and a RAM truck's paid-access obstacle.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
STOP BUYING KIA CARS
ClawBoss once filled his archive with claw-machine wins, including car keys and hoverboards. His new uploads offer a different sort of suspense: what will make the next repair awkward?
Across ten posts, the workshop itinerary included "My first time replacing Drum Brakes," brake work on a police car and a high-mileage Ford Police Interceptor utility's PTU. "Mechanics Locked Out from Working on this RAM Truck unless we PAY" drew the second-largest audience among the new uploads, while "Why is Chevy so Difficult?" joined it among the channel's busiest videos by daily views.
The largest new audience, though, remains with "STOP BUYING KIA CARS," now past half a million views. The inspection follows a customer's Forte with oil-consumption and fuel-mileage problems. ClawBoss checks the plugs, uses a borescope to examine carbon-covered pistons and replaces a clogged PCV valve before recommending a dealership assessment. It is also his busiest upload right now.
Under that video, viewers are discussing the distinction between a brand problem and overdue maintenance. One Optima owner offers a long-mileage counterexample; another commenter notes how difficult old electrical clips can be to unplug intact.
The channel added about 2,000 subscribers over the week, although daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Among nearby motoring channels, Jim's Automotive Machine Shop had the biggest weekly views gain, with ClawBoss next. For an archive remembered for arcade prizes, the repair bench is supplying plenty of the week's activity.
