Del Boy falling through a bar is the kind of television moment that needs little introduction. It is also one of BBC Comedy Greats' most-watched uploads, part of the comedy archive that has brought the channel to a million subscribers.

This is BBC Studios' home for excerpts and compilations, rather than a single show's channel. Its shelves put Only Fools and Horses beside A Bit of Fry & Laurie and Live at the Apollo, letting a visual gag from an old sitcom sit alongside a stand-up routine.

Keeping Up Appearances has supplied a conspicuous recent hit. "Mrs Bucket and Major go for a drive..." has reached about 1.3 million views, while a separate hour-long compilation gathers material from the sitcom's early series. Patricia Routledge's Hyacinth, forever insisting on the more elegant pronunciation of her surname, remains well represented here.

The latest upload turns instead to Richard Wilson's Victor Meldrew in One Foot in the Grave, under the title "A Year Early. The Wrong Car. Total Chaos. | One Foot in the Grave | BBC Comedy Greats". It follows a Harry Enfield and Chums character compilation: different comic personalities, with everyday situations going badly wrong.
