Stevo's stable chores get out of hand on Changing Lanes
Channel 4's farm clip turns mucking out into a family negotiation, with a handful of manure as Stevo's bargaining tool.
Why this story? The video is running at 129,442 views a day, 1392 times its usual pace (93).
A day on the farm has Stevo doing some questionable things… #ChangingLanes
Stevo is meant to be cleaning a stable with his daughters. Instead, he starts by tossing horse manure into the air, prompting one daughter to question why he did it with his mouth open.
That is the tone of Channel 4's Changing Lanes clip, which added about 129,000 views in a day after attracting fewer than a thousand on its first day. The farm outing puts Stevo's willingness to get his hands dirty rather more literally than his daughters would like.
At first, he uses a fork to shovel the droppings into a tub. When help is not forthcoming, he picks up a piece with his bare hands and starts a countdown: come and help, or it gets thrown. His daughters retreat, laughing and telling him to put it down.
The clip is a paid partnership with KwikFit, as its on-screen notice makes clear. Here, though, the job needing attention is stable cleaning, and Stevo's approach makes the shovel look like the sensible option.
