Buldak over Maruchan, day three: Antojitos LindaMar's spicy noodle campaign

The Arizona snack shop posted thirteen shorts, including a customer who paid for the next people in line and a pair of jokes about interest rates.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

What else has the Chandler-to-San Tan Valley snack shop been posting, besides the ten-second girlfriend? Quite a lot. Thirteen shorts went up in seven days, and the ten-second romance we wrote about here is still far out in front.

The running bit worth following is a small campaign. "Day 3 of asking for Buldak instead of Maruchan" pleads for the fiery Korean noodles in place of the familiar cup ramen, and it started slowly. It has picked up since, and it is one of the few new uploads gathering more views now than it did on its first day.

The counter staff also leaned into the money news. Two shorts joke that interest rates are rising, one calling a cup of snacks an investment that pays in happiness, and the newer of the pair is moving quickly in its first day. Earlier in the week, a customer told "tell me I'm pretty and your food is free" paid anyway, then tipped and covered the next customers' orders too.

The whole channel had a lively stretch, running at roughly double its usual daily pace and adding about 3,000 subscribers on the way toward a million. Among food channels of its size, Julius Fiedler is having a big week, while Jack's Dining Room is quieter than usual. For a shop that mostly films raspados and street corn going over the counter, a noodle petition reaching day three counts as a storyline.
