Alan Jackson - Remember When (Live From The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards)
Nothing new went up on alanjacksonVEVO this week, and the channel hardly needed it. Daily views ran a little above their usual level, at well over half a million a day, all of it from a catalog that has had decades to settle in.
The video doing the most work is not an old music video but a performance from last year: "Alan Jackson - Remember When (Live From The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards)." The song first came out on his 2003 Greatest Hits Volume II, a look back at a marriage from first love to grandchildren, and Jackson wrote it himself. Sung on the ACM stage in 2025, more than twenty years later, it carries a different weight, and it has now passed three and a half million views.
Behind it sit two official audio uploads posted almost four years ago. "Where I Come From," a number one from 2001, is still finding people, and so is "It Must Be Love," his cover of the Don Williams hit from Under the Influence, the 1999 album of country standards.
Among the music channels close to it in size, most are running below their usual pace right now, CMT and P110 at around half. Riot Games Music is about level, and Brad Paisley's Vevo channel, a fellow Nashville neighbor, is a touch quieter than normal. Alan Jackson's channel, at more than two billion total views, is one of the few running above its usual rate.
