A diving-board landing makes a splash on AFV Classics

The official archive also returns to an April 1991 episode hosted by Bob Saget among its 15 new uploads.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Worst father/son synchronized swimming duo ever

Dad is the landing zone. In "Worst father/son synchronized swimming duo ever", a boy jumps from a diving board directly onto the man floating beneath him, while the voiceover supplies a father's reassuring invitation to the deep end. A cut to a laughing studio audience completes the vintage AFV package.

That backyard-pool clip was America's Funniest Home Videos Classics' most-watched new upload, reaching roughly 14,000 views. The week also brought toddler put-downs, a baby's surprise bite and the neatly modern title "it's from 1990 so it can't be AI". Old camcorder footage has acquired a new kind of punchline.

For viewers wanting more than a quick mishap, the channel posted the second part of a Bob Saget-hosted episode originally broadcast on April 7, 1991. That mix of brief home videos and longer episode visits gives the archive two different ways into the same television era.

The channel added about 1,000 subscribers over the week, though daily viewing is currently below its usual pace. Nearby television channels BritBox and Law & Order are both drawing above-usual daily audiences; FOX Soul has had a quieter viewing week.

On AFV Classics itself, the strongest daily momentum now belongs to "Warned the kids to be careful... then this happened 😭 #funny #fail #shorts". A hiccup-cure clip and a Bob Saget studio moment follow it, keeping both the home-video mishaps and the host in circulation.
