Red Flag Missions and a feet confession keep 100 Thieves' ROOM busy
Nick G and Sophy's blind dates, run by a mysterious AI called Buddy, are the channel's busiest video eleven days on, just ahead of Will Neff's MMA lesson.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Can a First Date Survive Every Red Flag?
"Can a First Date Survive Every Red Flag?" is the first episode of ROOM, a new 100 Thieves series built around an empty white room and an AI host called Buddy, supposedly made by the equally mysterious AB Company. In this one, Nick G and Sophy each get twenty minutes, a blind date and an earpiece, and Buddy feeds them secret missions their dates know nothing about: lie about where you're from, hold eye contact for a full minute, pay fifteen compliments, bring up a crazy ex, and, near the end, mention how much you like feet. The dates score them at the end.
Eleven days on, it is the video still drawing the most viewers each day, with the second episode of 100 Tries close behind. That one sends NiceWigg, who has never trained a combat sport, and Will Neff to Forj LA, where pro MMA fighter Brady Huang has a single day to teach them takedowns and triangle chokes. Then they fight each other, and the loser faces Brady.
The week's own uploads were small: a short teasing ROOM, and a clip called "Kokiri Forest type beat," a nod to the opening village of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Daily views ran a little below the channel's usual pace, and the subscriber count held steady at 1.46 million.
The esports and game-publisher channels around it had louder weeks. VALORANT Champions Tour, in the middle of Champions Shanghai, and Zenless Zone Zero both ran far above their normal pace, while Marvel Rivals and Plants vs. Zombies were quieter. For 100 Thieves, the busiest videos are its own new series rather than a game release.
