Which Pearl video are people turning to now? This time it is not the character trailer but "Astral Glamor | Pearl," a short showcase that went up on September 29 and drew fewer than 20,000 views on its first day. On its third day it took off, gaining views about seventeen times faster than its usual pace and passing 145,000.

The video comes with a single line in Pearl's own voice, about holding on to beauty with a brushstroke. That suits a character whose trailer introduced her as a painter searching for perfect art.

The comment section is small and has hardly grown since the views jumped. What is there is mostly about the music and the look. More than one viewer asks when the theme will be released on its own. One compares it with Cerydra's and finds Pearl's the more dramatic of the two. Others stay on the painterly background, which one viewer likens to a mood board, and one more technical fan wonders how hard it was to animate her joints.

As we reported here, nearly everything the official channel posted in the week before was about Pearl, an Ice character on the Elation path who goes on rate-up after the Version 4.6 update, on November 10 server time. Perhaps some players are taking a second look while they wait. A pet park blind box video from September 28 also picked up about five times its usual daily views. Its description is a little plea for a "Pearliefin" to appear.
