"Speed Running Classes ft. @sodapoppin" is the second episode of The WoW: Forever Podcast. Blizzard is using the show to talk players through World of Warcraft: Forever while the new version of the game is in beta.

The host is @countdowntoclassic. Around the table are three of the people building the game: senior game designers Josh "Aggrend" Greenfield and Aidan Moon, and principal designer Kris Zierhut. The guest is Sodapoppin, the streamer whose name has been tied to World of Warcraft for most of his career. The talk runs a little over an hour and a quarter. Its chapters take the classes one at a time: Druid, Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Shaman, Hunter, Warlock, Mage and Priest. Those are the nine classes the game launched with in 2004. The Druid gets the longest stretch.

Twelve hours after it went up, the episode had passed 385,000 views. That pace points to roughly seventeen times what a new video on the channel usually draws in its first day.

The comments are mostly about two things. The first is the guest: a running joke recalls Sodapoppin saying they would never have him on the show. The second is the format itself. The most-liked comment asks for the podcast to keep going after launch, and many others say they want more episodes. Near the top sits the team's own correction to the description: only one Battleground and one new dungeon are playable this week.

The podcast was not the only video moving. A short about Enhancement Shamans, billed as bringing powerful group buffs and burst damage, ran more than five times past a usual first day. Together, the two have pushed the channel's daily views to more than double their normal level.
