Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

DON'T Make These Mistakes In Minecraft Dungeons II

What should a new Minecraft Dungeons II player avoid? XBOX ON spent its week answering that, and the answer drew more people than anything else the channel posted. "DON'T Make These Mistakes In Minecraft Dungeons II" went up on September 30 and has passed 77,000 views. It is also still picking up viewers far faster than its sibling guide from the same day, "Things I Wish We Knew Before Playing Minecraft Dungeons 2," which had the bigger first day and then settled.

The comments under the mistakes video have turned into a second guide. The most liked one is a tip of its own: there is a cap on how many emeralds you can carry, so salvage with care. Others swap builds, and a few argue over whether enchanting is worth the bother when better gear turns up minutes later. One viewer admits the game makes them think harder about builds than they are used to, and likes it anyway.

The rest of the ten uploads followed the Xbox calendar. Two videos explain Mythic Achievements, the new award for unlocking every achievement in a game, and the team says it earned its first on Halo Campaign Evolved. Gears of War: E-Day, the origin story set fourteen years before the original game, got a weapons chat with developers Matt Searcy and Alex Grimbley, and a co-op campaign talk in which Bex and Henry look back fondly at the old days.

Views ran below their usual daily pace, as they did for most publisher and esports channels close to XBOX ON in size. Even so, over the week no channel in that group added more views, with Rocket League and LCK Global next.

What viewers say

I have a quick tip. If you're salvaging a ton of items, be sure not to salvage more than 10k emeralds worth, because your inventory caps at 10k

Dungeons makes me think harder on my builds and I like that, it's just really annoying because I'm not used to it 😭
