The full broadcast of Team Liquid Alienware against LYON drew close to three quarters of a million views in its first day, with much of the comment section written in Spanish.

LCS Championship Final | LYON vs TLAW
"LCS Championship Final | LYON vs TLAW" is the whole show: the deciding series of the 2026 Summer Split, broadcast from start to finish on the league's own channel. Team Liquid Alienware came out as champions. A day after it went up, it had passed 700,000 views, while a long broadcast here usually opens with a few thousand.
The story inside the stream belongs to Josedeodo. A separate clip, billed as what it means to him to be the first Latin American player to lift an LCS trophy, became one of the day's other strong starts. The broadcast's comments make the same point in their own way: many of the most liked are in Spanish, celebrating José and cheering a jungler they clearly followed long before this final. English-speaking viewers talk about CoreJJ's reaction on the player cams after the win, about Quid's emotion, and about a strange game on Maokai that TLAW pulled back after falling far behind on kills. The comments arrived at many times the usual pace.
The final mattered beyond the trophy. The description notes that the split's top two teams go to the 2026 World Championship, held in North America this year.
The channel did not rest. A vertical cut of the final drew more than 100,000 views on its own, and by the next day the Promotion Tournament had begun, with a play-in series already past 90,000. Its live final is set for Mexico City, in partnership with LYON.

What viewers say
Man, this is my favorite lineup ever for any team. TLAW had such great energy and improved constantly throughout the year. They’re all so wholesome, how could anyone dislike them? CoreJJ is my favorite player and seeing him pop off in the player cams after the win was so special.
