A whole Waveform episode on the clips channel, Xiaomi 18 Fold and all

Marques Brownlee unboxes the foldable live for Andrew and David, and the most liked reply under it says simply that this is not a clip.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"Unboxing the Xiaomi 18 Fold LIVE" was the only new upload on Waveform Clips, the channel that cuts short moments out of the Waveform Podcast. The description promises Marques unboxing the phone on air while the rest of the crew sees it for the first time. Viewers found something longer than that.

The comment section is nearly unanimous about it: this looks like the full episode, not a clip. One viewer points out it runs exactly as long as the podcast, another has already typed out chapter times running from a Pixel display glitch to a music trivia break, and several gently pin it on Andrew Manganelli, who edits much of the show. Some wonder if it is an A/B test. Many simply ask that it stay up.

Otherwise the channel ran below its usual daily pace, and the subscriber count held where it was. Older clips still carry it: the crew's instant reaction to the iPhone Duo, filmed live at Apple Park, has passed 660,000 views, and their final thoughts on the Pixel 11 phones follow behind.

Among tech channels of similar size, Alex Ziskind had the biggest week by far, while the main WVFRM Podcast channel drew more than twice the views of its clips sibling.
