A Georgie & Mandy tease, a week before Season 3, leads Warner Bros. TV's day

The short pointing to next week's CBS premiere drew in seven hours several times what the studio's Shorts usually find in a full day, while a Lisa Barlow podcast and a Get Jiro! promo stayed near a thousand views each.

Warner Bros. TV posted a short with a one-line promise, "We can't wait to hear this story," and a reminder that Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage returns for its third season next week on CBS. Seven hours later it had passed 16,000 views. A new short on the studio channel usually ends its whole first day near 2,000, so this one is heading for close to eighteen times that. The likes were livelier still: more in those seven hours than a usual short collects in a day, roughly ten times over.

The title keeps the story itself a secret, and so does the description. What it does carry is the hashtag fans of the show know, #GMFM. The sitcom is the Young Sheldon spinoff that follows Sheldon Cooper's older brother Georgie, played by Montana Jordan, and his wife Mandy, played by Emily Osment, as they raise a young family in Texas.

The rest of the channel's day was busy too, just quieter. There were two clips and a full episode of the A Lot More podcast, where host Jonathon Buckley talks with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Lisa Barlow about seven seasons of the show. There was a spooky-season montage asking for a favorite scare, and a promo for Get Jiro!, the Adult Swim series with Brian Tee that premieres October 3. Each of those sat around a thousand views.

The Cooper family has a larger home nearby: the official Big Bang Theory channel, close in size to Warner Bros. TV, is drawing more than a million views a day.
