The first section, "Europe is on the Verge of Collapse," went past 300,000 views within 42 hours. It looks at unrest in France, the backlash taking shape in European politics, and what the two men describe as a surprising return of Catholicism in France.
The historian in Hanson got the second section. "Tucker Carlson is Just WRONG" answers Carlson's argument that Britain could have avoided war with Nazi Germany, and Hanson holds up Britain's refusal to make peace in 1940 as essential, citing Jacob Rees-Mogg's rebuttal along the way. For a classicist and military historian best known for books such as "Carnage and Culture," it is home ground. The third section turns to a poll of young voters and what Hanson sees as gaps in civic education.
Nine uploads in all, with Sami Winc joining him earlier in the week for the economy and a Saturday look back at Lincoln and FDR. The channel as a whole ran well below its usual pace, and among the political talk channels near its size it gained the fewest views. Subscribers were another matter: about 6,000 new ones, second only to John Kiriakou in that group.
