Undertaker, Cena and DX against Legacy and Punk: a 2009 SmackDown main event returns
The eight-man tag from October 2, 2009 went up a day before its 17th anniversary and passed 640,000 views, one of fifteen uploads on the official Undertaker channel.

Seventeen years after it aired, the eight-man main event from SmackDown on October 2, 2009 is back, and it is the most watched of the fifteen videos the official Undertaker channel posted over the seven days. On one side: The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. On the other: Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, the trio known as The Legacy, plus CM Punk.
The comment section reads like a roll call. Viewers point out that seven of the eight men were or would become world champions, single out Justin Roberts' ring introduction for The Undertaker, and wish for more of these big multi-man tags that tie several feuds into one match. One of the most liked comments is a quiet memory: the last SmackDown a viewer watched with a friend who has since died.
The Attitude Era got its turn too. The full Judgment Day 1998 title match between The Undertaker and Kane went up alongside a separate clip of its finish, where special guest referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin refuses to count the three. A short of Taker slugging Brock Lesnar with his hand cast, and an X-Pac story with Michelle McCool's name in the tags, filled out the week.
The newest uploads are moving fastest. "Taker dragged him to hell" and a compilation of his scariest moments, from Mankind to the Ultimate Warrior, are each a day old, and both are drawing more daily views than the 2009 main event. That is a fitting run for a man whose act was always built on fear.
The whole channel is running above its usual pace, at around two million views a day, and it added about 9,000 subscribers. Among combat sports and wrestling channels near its size, it sits sixth by subscribers but gained the most views of the group. Free MMA Gyms had the next biggest week, while the WCW and WWE NXT vaults ran a little quieter than usual.
