"Put the gun on the ground and get off my property." Trent Ellis starts with a firm instruction, then spots something that changes his priorities: the intruder has a rifle he rather likes.

This is a staged comedy sketch, with Ellis playing the homeowner and an unseen partner supplying the trespasser's voice. The warning gives way to a remarkably specific question about a Ruger 10/22 Takedown with a carbon fiber barrel. Soon they're discussing the wait to get one, as though this were a perfectly ordinary conversation between enthusiasts.

Ellis offers his Smith & Wesson .44 revolver in exchange. The trespasser accepts, and the confrontation ends with the pair heading off to complete their swap. In the comments, viewers are debating the trade's merits and pointing out the opportunities the fictional robber has missed.

The Short drew about 133,000 views in its first 15 hours, already more than four times Ellis's usual full-day Shorts audience. His hunting-and-shooting interests supply the details here; the joke is how quickly they displace the supposed emergency.
