Dude Perfect Outdoors trades open water for a box of snakes

The channel's sole new upload turns facing a fear into a very close encounter, while Grant Horvat's Bahamas trip keeps drawing views.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Laying in a Box of SNAKES 🐍

Dude Perfect Outdoors gives its latest participant a moment to reconsider. He approaches a coffin-like box beneath camouflage netting and says, "I'm not getting in that." Before long, he's lying inside it, waiting for a bucket of snakes.

"Laying in a Box of SNAKES 🐍" is the channel's only new upload of the week, reaching roughly 11,000 views. The challenge gets particularly uncomfortable when a snake crosses the participant's face. "It licked my mouth," he says, before his companions lift the snakes away. In the comments, one viewer recalls Coby's snake-box consequence on Dude Perfect's Overtime, while others debate whether they'd volunteer or stay well clear.

The bigger viewing draw remains September's "Spearfishing in SHARK INFESTED Water with Grant Horvat". The Bahamas outing with the golfer and Capt Jack Spearo has passed two million views and is currently adding more daily views than either the snake clip or October's "Might Be Harder Than You Think 👀". For a channel built around Tyler Toney, Jared Pettitte and Josh Pettitte heading outside, the archive offers rather different definitions of adventure.

The subscriber audience grew modestly, though daily viewing is running about a third below its usual level. Nearby outdoors channels Trent Ellis and TN Gardening had much larger weekly viewing totals, while Dan Becker had a quieter week. Dude Perfect Outdoors added a thousand subscribers, with the Bahamas adventure continuing to do substantial work between bigger outings.
