Miranda Hart had imagined a grand Hercule Poirot-style confrontation, pointing fingers at her fellow Celebrity Traitors contestants. Instead, she arrived on This Morning able to enjoy the remaining episodes from home, having been eliminated from the game.

Her interview was the most-watched of the channel's fifteen uploads this week, reaching roughly 130,000 views. Alongside the blindfold challenge and her much-discussed bouncing-floor theory, Hart revisited sharing a grave with Michael Sheen during a mission. It made for a debrief with rather more theatrical material than the average daytime chat.

Then came the sitcom question. In "Miranda Hart Addresses Rumours of a Miranda Comeback! | This Morning", she explained that the recurring stories haven't originated with her: "It seems that the papers every one or two years tells me I'm bringing it back." That isn't a relaunch announcement. Viewers nevertheless kept asking for another series, with one describing three generations of their family discovering the reruns.

Elsewhere, Teri Hatcher encountered the very British habit of asking whether someone is alright, while Jo Good brought cosy co-ords and knitted dresses into the fashion conversation. Paris primary school teacher Sylvain Hélaine discussed tattoos and his belief in teaching pupils not to judge by appearances.

The strongest viewing momentum now belongs to Evelyn Hollow's haunted-house discussion, drawing on her series Mythland and its investigations of Scottish myths. Hart's interview and Hélaine's appearance follow it.

Subscribers were unchanged over the week, and daily viewing is a little below This Morning's usual level. Nearby in daytime television, TODAY and The View are drawing above their usual daily audiences. For This Morning, the week's most substantial new audience gathered around Hart, her castle theories and a sitcom question she has heard before.
