Ainsley Earhardt asks Donald Trump for his final pitch to voters. His answer takes Fox & Friends from keeping America great to praise from world leaders, military strikes in Iran and what Space Force can see from orbit.
That winding response is the subject of David Pakman's commentary, which drew about 1.6 million views since yesterday. Although the upload arrived after Election Day, the interview it examines took place on November 3, before the Republican losses covered in Pakman's subsequent videos.
Trump begins by describing the United States as "the hottest country in the world." Pakman questions what that description, or foreign leaders' compliments, offers someone deciding how to vote.
The sharper exchange comes when Trump discusses strikes in Iran while rejecting the language of war: "And you know when you talk about war, this isn't really war." He then boasts about surveillance capabilities, saying, "We can see the badge, the name tag on a man's chest from outer space."
Pakman criticizes the president's casual presentation of military force and contrasts his friendly reception on Fox with his response to a New York Times reporter's questions about Iran. Later clips feature Trump's claims that the United States won a short conflict with Venezuela and collected oil, and that Iran's nuclear capabilities had been dealt with.
The analysis eventually returns to the original assignment: giving Americans a reason to elect Republicans. After playing further remarks about inflation, immigration, tariffs and manufacturing, Pakman's conclusion is that Trump never supplied a coherent answer to Earhardt's question.
