Lamont Tyson shares rally exchange on racism and Muslim deportation
The Good Liars' Jason Selvig moves the microphone between two attendees whose answers put sharply different claims side by side.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 186,946 views a day, 12 times a normal first day on this channel (15,353).

One woman says Americans should stop treating racism as a major problem. Then Jason Selvig turns to the woman beside her and asks about Muslims. She says they should be deported.
That sequence is at the center of a fast-starting Short on Lamont Tyson's channel, drawing roughly 187,000 views in its first day, about twelve times his usual opening for Shorts. The original interview is by The Good Liars, not Tyson, whose upload credits their footage.
The first attendee distinguishes individual prejudice from the country as a whole. "Some people are racist. You're never going to stop that," she says, before arguing that the majority are not and that people should stop presenting racism as a big issue.
Selvig then shifts the microphone to a second woman wearing a white "47" cap. After repeating his question about Muslims and pausing, she answers a follow-up about whether she wants them to leave: "I think they should be deported and go back to their own country."
The clip places that call immediately after the first woman's argument against making racism an issue. It does not establish either attendee's citizenship or anyone else's.
Tyson also has unusually fast-starting uploads featuring Mehdi Hasan, Wajahat Ali and Prem Thakker discussing Vivek Ramaswamy, and a young voter explaining why he identifies as a Democrat. Both continue his channel's emphasis on short political exchanges drawn from other outlets' interviews and commentary.
