"The prediction markets have been, to put it politely, really, really annoying," Tony Kinnett says early in The Daily Signal's election-night broadcast.
His complaint is that markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket swing with social media rather than the election evidence. Instead, he directs attention to early House contests, including Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, which he identifies as a potential national bellwether.
The five-hour edition of The Tony Kinnett Cast drew nearly a million views in its first day, roughly twelve times the channel's usual start for longer videos. It has since crossed the million-view mark.
The opening stretch moves between returns and the practical obstacles to voting. Kinnett reports on Florida precincts relocated because of flooding, then turns to power outages, scanner problems and a tornado-related relocation elsewhere. About a quarter-hour into the broadcast, he delivers a concrete Senate result: Decision Desk HQ projects Jon Ossoff defeating Mike Collins in Georgia.
The channel's post-election discussion is drawing attention too. Two Hanson videos, examining the implications for Trump's presidency and the next presidential election, are running well above its usual viewing pace. In the latter, Hanson argues that weak candidates, poor messaging and divisions within the MAGA movement helped produce Republican losses, rather than treating the result simply as a rejection of Trump's agenda.
