SMii7Y manages to die before the cursed board game properly gets going. An accidental press of "Give up" supplies the first setback, which is quite an entrance for a group about to tackle a haunted manor together.

"We Should NOT Have Played This Board Game..." follows SMii7Y, Yumi, daukey and sovi into Invokyr, a cooperative horror video game built around a sinister tabletop game. The upload on the SMii7Yplus highlights channel is edited from SMii7Y's Twitch livestream and has drawn roughly 543,000 views since yesterday.

The assignment sounds manageable: retrieve golden idols scattered around the manor. Then a hostile puppet starts chasing people, SMii7Y gets caught in a web cocoon, and sovi freezes or disconnects. Spinning mannequins and indoor fireworks add to the distractions. By the time ghostly copies of Yumi appear in the corridors, even recognizing a teammate has become work.

The oversized chessboard makes the danger particularly literal. Players have to collect idols while avoiding moving pieces capable of crushing them. SMii7Y offers a useful assessment of the group's grasp of events: "I'll explain everything. I have no idea what happened and how we got here."

Viewers are picking out the coordination problems as much as the scares. One compares a sequence to working on a group project; another singles out the extended stretch of sovi ringing a doorbell while neither he nor SMii7Y moves. Beneath the cursed-game chaos, requests for another visit to the "cabin game" are also piling up.
