Dio's 1983 classic, a month old, has passed 830,000 views, and Kenny Loggins' Top Gun anthem arrived on the last day of September.

Among the music channels nearest sina-drums in size, the clearest busy stretch belongs to Adam Neely, drawing well above his usual daily views, while Rob Scallon keeps running at his customary enormous scale. Sina's own corner is steadier, and it runs on classic rock.
Three covers went up. Rainbow's "I Surrender" came first, the 1981 single from the Joe Lynn Turner era of Ritchie Blackmore's band. Two days later came Manfred Mann's Earth Band and "Blinded by the Light", the Bruce Springsteen song the group took to the top of the American charts in 1977. It has gathered more than 80,000 views, the most of the three so far. Then, on September 30, "Danger Zone", Kenny Loggins' theme from Top Gun, asking viewers in its title whether they remember it. Sixteen hours in, it was already moving at about the same pace as the busiest video on the channel.
That busiest video is a month old: "HOLY DIVER", her take on Ronnie James Dio's signature song, which has passed 830,000 views. Behind it sits Molly Hatchet's "Flirtin' With Disaster", billed by Sina as a 70s song famous mainly in the US, and described as a joy to play because of its shuffle. Its audio and video were produced by Nils Neumann, a reminder that the channel's about text puts collaboration ahead of speed.
