One song, one question. Taylor Davis posted a single video this week, a violin take on "Gerudo Valley" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and titled it with a question for her viewers: what's your favorite Zelda song? In the description she admits she hardly knows where to start with Ocarina favorites, but this one is up there. Koji Kondo's flamenco-flavored theme for the desert valley is a fair pick. It is one of the most covered pieces from the 1998 game.

The reason she gives is the Ocarina of Time remake, which she says she is excited for, and which gives her an excuse to go back through her Zelda arrangements. She also mentions a compilation album gathering all of her Zelda covers.

The new video is barely a day old and already the busiest thing on the channel by a wide margin. Behind it, a sea shanty medley with "Wellerman" and "Drunken Sailor" and a dueling-violin arrangement of Warframe's "Dust's Dominion" keep ticking along at a gentle pace. Subscribers held steady. Among music channels of her size she sits second by subscribers, just behind Andy Guitar, who is having a brisker week than usual.
