Wannabe influencers face Rob Dyrdek's panel in Ridiculousness' one new clip
Posted on October 1, the compilation of would-be content stars passed 30,000 views in its first eight hours.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Ridiculousnessly Wannabe Influencers 🤳 Ridiculousness
Ridiculousness has passed 770 million lifetime views, and the channel marked the week with a single upload about people chasing that kind of audience for themselves. "Ridiculousnessly Wannabe Influencers" gathers clips of would-be content stars learning, as the description puts it, that influencing is not as easy as it looks.
It is the familiar Ridiculousness setup: Rob Dyrdek on the couch with Steelo Brim and Chanel West Coast, watching the internet go wrong. Dyrdek built the format on the skateboarding-and-stunts reputation he earned with Rob & Big and Fantasy Factory, and a phone-in-hand fail fits it naturally. Eight hours in, the new clip was pulling far more daily views than anything else on the channel.
Behind it, last week's "Risky Intruders," about people and animals who would not be kept out, keeps ticking over, and a sports-fails super compilation from August has passed half a million views.
The channel as a whole is running a little below its usual pace. Among the TV channels near its size, Yellowstone Universe and DAZN SPORT are the ones having big weeks, while Friends rolls along at its usual huge clip.
