1,411 minigames, 24 hours of play: RedFalcon's 'magnum opus' nears a million

Falc posted nothing new, and his attempt to lose every Mario Party minigame did the work, eighteen days after it went up.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Can you LOSE ALL 1,411 Minigames? Can you LOSE ALL 1,411 Minigames?

"Can you LOSE ALL 1,411 Minigames?" is the video Falc's own description calls the channel's magnum opus, and on RedFalcon it is still the one people are pressing play on. The premise is pure Falc, whose about text says he likes playing Mario and smiling: take every Mario Party minigame there is and try to fail them all. The description counts more than 24 hours of gameplay, over 5,000 written words and more than a month of editing, with Colin Kelly, known as iAnimate38, credited alongside the rest of the longform crew.

Eighteen days in, it is closing on a million views, and it is drawing well over twice as many a day as anything else on the channel. Close behind it in total, though moving more gently, is "I Removed Limits from Minigames," a summer collaboration with the modder doubleslash83, who also built the shrunken and supersized characters for "Which Size Wins in Every Minigame?"

No new uploads went up over the week, and the channel's subscriber count held where it was. Daily views ran a little under their usual level, yet the week still brought in about a million. Among the let's-play and variety channels near its size, UnitedGamer had the big week, nearly doubling its usual daily pace, while Caboose and The Lasercorn Channel were far quieter than normal.

After a month of editing one marathon, a week off looks earned.
