I Let YOU Create Custom Moons in Mario Odyssey

Fir's only upload of the week handed the game over to the audience. "I Let YOU Create Custom Moons in Mario Odyssey" is another round of Power Moons designed by viewers, with AmethystSZS credited for developing them into the game. The description admits it has been a while since the last one, and the comments sound like a reunion. Several people are simply glad the series is back, and others marvel that a Switch game from 2017 can still carry a video close to an hour long.

The moons themselves are what people talk about most. One puzzle turned a photo mode filter into the actual solution, and viewers can't get over it. Several designers turned up to point out their own moon at its timestamp. One admitted their entry started out far more devious before Amethyst softened it, out of mercy for Fir. There is also a running complaint that far too many players keep naming their moons some version of "Free Parking: Leap of Faith," and a good number of sheep apparently did not have a peaceful video.

It went up on October 3 and passed 240,000 views in its first day. That is enough to leave behind the channel's previous Odyssey outing, "I 100% Mario Odyssey with Custom Powerups," which is now past half a million. A second part of the moons is promised in the description.

Among let's-play channels of a similar size, Lazy Mattman had the standout week, while Plenty ran a little above its usual pace.
