Stuck in an elevator with Freddy, drawn by two animators for Plenty
MaximillionAnim and kiro.loserr animated the day intros and the in-between gags, and viewers keep thanking Plenty for keeping AI out of it.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
FNAF But You're Stuck In An Elevator
Most of the let's-play channels close to Plenty in size are running below their usual daily pace right now. Plenty is running a little above his. Lazy Mattman had the big week in the group, but Plenty was not far from the middle of the pack, fourth for views gained, with about 3,000 new subscribers on top.
The reason is easy to find. "FNAF But You're Stuck In An Elevator" went up on October 3 and drew around 180,000 views in its first day. The premise is in the title: Five Nights at Freddy's, played from inside a lift that will not open. The description credits two animators by name. MaximillionAnim made the intros for days one and three plus a couple of mid-video bits, and kiro.loserr made the day two intro and several more. The thumbnail art runs to a king Freddy, a pumpkin rabbit and a tiny chef Plenty.
That chef comes up in the comments too, since he seems to turn up everywhere. The most liked comment suspects Freddy simply wanted an excuse to go after Balloon Boy. Another thread is about the art itself. Several viewers praise Plenty for building the skits, the thumbnail and the animation by hand, and for keeping small artists working. One viewer just offers a better title: Five Nights Without Food.
That joke fits a channel whose about text promises something to watch while you eat. Plenty's older videos are still being watched too. "I Cooked FNAF Food," a cooking attempt the description calls a disaster, saved only by a cupcake he is proud of, is still drawing a steady audience. So is his four-and-a-half-hour sitting with The Walten Files, which goes chapter by chapter through all five parts.
