An RX 9060 XT and a Ryzen 5 9600X: PC Centric's DREAM $1500 build
The one new video of the week puts the parts in an NZXT S5 case, and its comments are busy rebuilding it with a 9070 GRE.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The DREAM $1500 Gaming PC Build!
PC Centric built one computer this week, and it is the kind of machine the channel exists for. "The DREAM $1500 Gaming PC Build!" pairs AMD's Ryzen 5 9600X with a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB inside an NZXT S5 RGB case, then runs it through gameplay benchmarks. Its tags also mention the RTX 5060, the obvious comparison at this price.
It went up on October 1 and is now the busiest video on the channel, close to 30,000 views on its first day and past 60,000 since. The comments read like a parts forum. The most liked reply suggests that $1,500 could stretch to a Radeon RX 9070 GRE, and several others try to make the same swap work, some by dropping to 16GB of memory. One British viewer points out what the RAM in the build costs today. Others simply post their own rigs, from a 2015 machine with an i7 4790K and a GTX 970 to a fresh build running the Linux distribution Nobara. A few thank him for teaching them the hobby in the first place.
Behind it, two summer buying guides are still doing steady work: an OLED monitor guide that runs from burn-in to 500Hz esports panels, and a ranking of the best and worst graphics cards. Views ran close to the channel's usual pace, and the subscriber count did not move.
Among tech channels of a similar size, PC Centric landed mid-table on views. jakkuh and Retro Game Corps had the big weeks, both running far above their norm.

@Foley58See it on YouTubeas always bud, another decent build on good budget and very fair review
@ryzendave9303See it on YouTubeThat was great, kept me up to speed as to what is available. I built mine in 2015 with an Intel i7 4790K cpu, and gtx970! For now, using gforce NOW ultimate to bypass it which is working fantastic...but may build another PC in the future. Thanks!
