Video taking off 13x its usual first day

Russell Wilson and Kyle Long ask who can stop the Chiefs, and Tyreek Hill comes up

The 'Set, Hut!' segment drew more comments in seven hours than a regular video here usually gets in a full day, and much of that talk is about Kansas City's receivers.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 66,669 views a day, 13 times a normal first day on this channel (5,023).

Can anyone stop the Chiefs? 👀Can anyone stop the Chiefs? 👀

'Set, Hut!' is the channel's Tuesday afternoon show, streamed live at 2 p.m. Eastern, and both of its voices spent years on the field. Russell Wilson quarterbacked Seattle to a Super Bowl title. Kyle Long was a three-time Pro Bowl guard for the Chicago Bears. The most watched cut from their latest show puts the title's question to them directly: can anyone stop the Kansas City Chiefs?

The pair lay out why Kansas City looks like a real Super Bowl contender. They also take up the possibility of Tyreek Hill coming back, the receiver whose speed shaped the Chiefs' offense before his 2022 trade to Miami. Seven hours after it went up, the segment had close to 29,000 views. A regular video on the channel usually ends its entire first day at around 5,000.

The comment section moved even faster. It already holds almost three times the comments of a usual first day, and much of it is a debate about receivers. Some viewers argue that Andrew Armstrong, a bigger target they say built a strong connection with Patrick Mahomes in training camp, deserves his chance before anyone signs Hill. The most liked comment goes back to the Raiders game and asks why nobody is talking about a hip tackle on Thornton. Several viewers say they enjoy this side of Wilson. One wonders why these shows always ask how to stop the Chiefs and never the Bills or the Ravens.

A second segment from the same episode, on whether Drake Maye and the Patriots are back to form after their win over the Bills, went up a day later. It has started far more quietly, which leaves Kansas City as the subject this audience came to argue about.
