Fifty cases, 2,000 drops: MobileReviewsEh's iPhone 18 Pro case guide keeps working
The 18-day-old guide names no rugged case at all, calling that whole category a honey trap, and it has passed 249,000 views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The Best iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max Cases For YOU
What does a phone accessory channel run on when it posts nothing new? On MobileReviewsEh, it runs on the iPhone 18 Pro, and on a lot of dropped phones.
The busiest video right now is "The Best iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max Cases For YOU," now close to a quarter of a million views. According to the description, the picks rest on dropping an iPhone 17 Pro more than 2,000 times in over 50 cases. Its sharpest verdict is about the toughest-looking ones. Rugged cases get no recommendation. The description calls them honey traps, says most of them did worse than average on corner drops, and sums up their look as "lifted-truck energy." The winners are quieter names: a Flolab Surtect overall, and a $16 Ringke Fusion as the cheapest case that still protects.
Two companion guides follow it. One tests screen protectors on what the title calls a new rig, with Flolab on top again. The other checks Qi2 power banks and finds that about half fail to hold 25W on a Google Pixel. Together the three read like a launch-season shopping list, built one test at a time.
With no uploads, daily views sat below the channel's usual pace, yet the channel still added roughly 2,000 subscribers. Among tech review channels of similar size, it placed fourth by views gained, well behind Alex Ziskind's busy run but ahead of most of the room.
