Strawberries go into the tiny saucepan first. For Miniature Cooking Ideas' watermelon-themed cake, the fruit inside is different from the fruit suggested by the frosting: homemade strawberry jam fills three little sponge layers.

The cook works with only their hands in view, separating an egg, folding batter and baking it in a miniature oven. Green, white and red buttercream gives the stack its watermelon look, with black sesame seeds pressed into the red frosting. A fondant strawberry on top offers a small clue to the filling.

That October 27 Short was the week's most-watched new upload, reaching about 12,000 views. The thirteen-upload menu also included rainbow Oreo ice cream, Kuromi jelly and miniature fruit lollipops. These are real ingredients in a functioning miniature kitchen, not simply dollhouse props.

Watermelon remains a recurring subject among the channel's busiest clips right now. "Is This a Watermelon or a Tiny Cake 🍉😱 Satisfying ASMR Mini Cake #shorts #asmr #miniature" has the strongest daily momentum, followed by another tiny-watermelon surprise and a bubble-tea creation.

Across the channel, daily viewing is modestly above its usual level, while the week brought 10,000 additional subscribers. Nearby food channel Eater added a similar number of subscribers; Sweet Impact did too, during a larger week for views. Here, the week's most-watched new creation ends with a particularly small serving: a striped slice set onto a tiny plate.
