Why this story? The channel is adding 100,000 subscribers a day, 125 times a normal day (798).

Chocolate Jack Skellington! His dog Zero is the cutest! #amauryguichon #chocolate

What does a chocolate ghost dog need? In Amaury Guichon's version, Zero gets a glowing pumpkin nose made of sugar, a small finishing detail beside a decidedly lanky Jack Skellington.

The Nightmare Before Christmas creation arrives alongside a subscriber jump: Guichon has added 100,000 subscribers in a day, bringing the channel to 24 million. Daily views across the channel have also more than doubled their usual pace.

His longer upload, "I Turned Nightmare Before Christmas into Chocolate LEGO!", gives the familiar skeleton a LEGO-inspired treatment. According to Guichon's description, Jack is handcrafted from chocolate, right down to his pinstripe suit, elongated legs and bat bow tie. He holds a crystallized sugar snowflake in one hand and a striped snake swallowing a Christmas present in the other. Zero floats beside him.

A separate Jack Skellington upload has drawn millions of views, though that does not establish which creation brought in the new subscribers. The channel's recent lineup also includes a chocolate Minion and Homer's donuts, making Jack part of a run of recognizable screen characters.

Not every surprise depends on recognizing a face, though. Guichon's giant chocolate panda has an edible zipper at the back, opening onto a cotton candy filling.
