Marty and Moog make room for EVs on MCM TV2
The Unicorn Circuit answers criticism of its Honda-BYD comparison, then returns to car shopping and an American snack.

Things we can learn from the video
Press to jump
- 8:14Moog says trying budget electric cars for fun does not mean changing the channel's format.
- 12:38Marty explains that the comparison shoot generated nearly a terabyte of 4K footage.
- 16:21Moog says neither manufacturer sponsored the vehicle comparison and that the cars were borrowed independently.
- 20:13Marty argues that appreciating electric vehicles can coexist with a passion for modified combustion cars.
Marty sees no contradiction in loving modified combustion cars and finding an electric vehicle fun. That argument gives MCM TV2's most-watched new upload its centre, with the usual desk banter briefly making room for a conversation about what car enthusiasm includes.
In "You ROASTED US with your BRUTAL Comments [Unicorn Circuit EP 207]", Marty and Moog revisit responses to their Honda Super One/Super N and BYD Atto 1 comparison. Moog says the cars were borrowed independently, not supplied for a manufacturer-sponsored test. He also gives the format-change question a direct answer: "It's not becoming an EV channel. It was just something that we did because we had some fun."
Viewers are talking about Marty's explanation of his own varied car interests, and the moment Moog settles into listening. Others put in a word for the Marketplace window-shopping segment. The episode eventually gets back to that familiar wandering brief, from car listings to commemorative touring-car coins and a Twinkie tasting.
Three uploads filled the week. Both full Unicorn Circuit episodes have reached about 55,000 views, with "Cats Vs Dogs - They SCAMMED us for Fank of the week [Unicorn Circuit EP 208]" currently drawing the most daily viewing. The brief "Did you know this?!?", whose description jokes about buying a different cheap car for every day, is close behind on daily views.
Subscribers held steady while daily viewing rose to roughly half again its usual level. Among similarly sized motoring channels, Garbage Time had a busier viewing week, while Sparks Motors is running below its usual daily pace. For MCM TV2, the week's strongest new upload was a chance for the hosts to explain why trying something different belongs alongside their familiar car obsessions.

I always love the banter boys and the jokes about interruptions but when Marty started talking at 20min about his different cars you could really tell Moog just wanted to listen 😊
