Product number 3107 is a simple idea: a soft cap with a wide brim that sits around a small head at hair-washing time, so water and shampoo run off behind instead of into the eyes and ears. The description bills it as the end of tears at bath time and promises it stays put without pressing. The tags, as on every MaviGadget upload, are the same long list about tech and car gadgets, which this one is not.

The short went up on October 5 and had passed one and a half million views within about fourteen hours. For a MaviGadget short, a whole first day usually ends somewhere near 100,000.

It had company. The same day brought slip-on safety sneakers, an electric recliner, a panda-patterned massage bath mat and a folding bedside rail for older people, and the sneakers did best of those, at a fraction of the cap's pace. All this came while the channel's overall daily views ran well below its usual level, so one bath accessory did much of the day's lifting.

The small comment section is mostly in Spanish and Portuguese. One of the most liked comments asks about the noises in the background. Another viewer remembers bath time without any gadget at all: a giant tin basin and water poured from jugs.
