MaviGadget adds a hundred thousand subscribers a day as a furniture lifter takes off
A five-piece mover set had the strongest start of the week, and a rabbit-shaped massage bath mat was close behind within a day of going up.
Why this story? The channel is adding 100,036 subscribers a day, 12 times a normal day (8,100).
What sends about 100,000 people a day to subscribe to a channel that is, at heart, a catalog? MaviGadget posts short videos that each show one product doing one job, every title stamped with a catalog number. The channel is gaining new subscribers at roughly twelve times its usual pace, and its daily views have about tripled.
The new upload that started fastest is the "5PC Furniture Lifter Mover Tool," posted on October 1 and heading for about five times a usual first day here. The pitch is simple. The description promises that one person can shift heavy furniture without help or strain, on rollers that glide so the space underneath can be cleaned or the room rearranged.
Close behind it is something softer: a Massage Rabbit Bath Floor Mat, billed as a way to turn a bathroom into a mini-spa for the feet. It went up a day after the furniture set and was already near 400,000 views.
The rest of the shelf is just as varied. It runs from ingrown-nail corrector stickers and automatic hand-trainer gloves to a transfer lift for home care and a portable phone base. A few days ago a heated neck massager and then a knee guard were leading the channel. Now the heavy lifting, quite literally, falls to a set of furniture rollers.
