Nine-year-olds, four suspects and a 'Girl Grip' for Chunkz and AJ

Eight uploads in seven days, nearly all built around the Beta Squad pair, closed with a Gen Alpha quiz where they put their generational knowledge up against kids.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

CHUNKZ & AJ GUESS WHO DID IT?

Chunkz and AJ, everywhere. Of the eight uploads JD Sports posted across the week, almost every title carries the Beta Squad duo, and the channel's about text leaves no doubt they are its main draw.

The longest-running piece was "CHUNKZ & AJ GUESS WHO DID IT?", the return of the detective game in which four suspects claim to have gone viral and the pair have three rounds to find out who really did. It is past 200,000 views. Its comment section is a running review of the bluffs: one suspect said the director of Batman was his mate, another talked about sneaking into Buckingham Palace, and several viewers saw through a pair of glasses the moment they came out. A good number also joke that Beta Squad turns up everywhere except its own channel.

The freshest energy belongs to "Chunkz & AJ vs. Girl Grip 🤌🏽", a short cut from the same game that is drawing new viewers faster than anything else here. The week opened differently, with "£100 for THAT? 😵‍💫", the Gen Alpha chapter of their quiz series. In it, the pair go up against nine-year-olds over three rounds.

Daily views ran below their usual level, and about 2,000 new subscribers arrived. Among the fashion and shopping channels near its size, only Refashioned Hippie added more views over the seven days.
