Mark Lewis compares seven years of TRT to getting glasses

His personal retrospective puts mood, rather than sporting performance, at the centre of the treatment story.

No new uploads arrived. Mark Lewis's week instead brought more attention to a personal review posted a fortnight ago: "I Tried TRT For Seven Years - Time For A Steroids Review", which has reached roughly 159,000 views.

The title sounds gym-focused, but Lewis puts the biggest change elsewhere. He describes being physically fit before treatment while experiencing severe depressive episodes, then seeking medical help after exploring possible natural fixes and testing low for testosterone.

His comparison is unexpectedly everyday. "The best way to describe it, it's like when I first got glasses at the age of 19," he says. For Lewis, the point was feeling normal again, not acquiring extraordinary athletic powers. He says his physical performance mostly followed the training and eating he was doing, while the major difference showed up in his mental health.

He also draws a boundary around that experience: he does not recommend TRT to everyone, likening that to recommending glasses regardless of whether someone needs them.

The retrospective is comfortably the busiest of his videos right now, drawing far more daily views than his older Mounjaro response. Across the channel, daily viewing is a little above its usual level, while subscribers remained unchanged over the week at 399,000.

Among nearby fitness channels, Jeremy Miller had a substantially bigger viewing week, while Kris Hui's daily viewing is running below its usual level. Lewis's upload-free week sits somewhere gentler: an existing video doing the work, with its emphasis on life beyond the stopwatch.
