Cherry Ripe bends the rules in Madman Films' cast game

The Fox cast's mystery-touch challenge joins a home-viewing promo in a two-upload week.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

You’re supposed to eat it.” We played ’What’s in the Hole” with the cast of The Fox 🦊You’re supposed to eat it.” We played ’What’s in the Hole” with the cast of The Fox 🦊

A bite settles it. Reaching into a mystery box, one of The Fox's cast members guesses Tim Tam, then takes a taste and identifies a Cherry Ripe. Her fellow player has a procedural objection: surely this was supposed to be about feel, not flavour.

The promotional game, titled "You're supposed to eat it." We played 'What's in the Hole" with the cast of The Fox 🦊", was Madman Films' most-watched new upload this week, drawing roughly 5,600 views. The disagreement supplies its little comic engine: one player has found an effective shortcut, while another would very much like the rules respected.

Madman's only other new post was a home-viewing promo for Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma. Away from those fresh uploads, the trailers are doing more of the viewing work. "Coward - Official Trailer", for Lukas Dhont's World War I drama, has passed a million views and remains the busiest individual upload right now.

Close behind in daily viewing is the Heated Rivalry trailer, advertising a December cinema marathon across selected Australian and New Zealand venues. Jacob Tierney's adaptation of Rachel Reid's novels stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie as professional hockey players whose on-ice competition conceals a romance. The screening programme includes every first-season episode, with an intermission halfway through.

Subscribers held steady over the week, while today's channel-wide views are above Madman's usual daily level. Among nearby film channels, GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO had a substantial subscriber-growth week; NEON, like Madman, recorded no subscriber change. For Madman, the week's contrast is unusually neat: sweeping screen romances in the trailers, and a chocolate-bar rules dispute among the new arrivals.
