Poland mass shooting: 6, dead 15 hurt in market shooting
LiveNOW from FOX anchor Josh Breslow brings viewers from footage of armed officers behind police tape to a live Krakow police briefing following Saturday's shooting in the city's Main Square.
Citing the Associated Press, Breslow reports that six people were killed and about 15 injured. Police say the gunman drove into the crowded tourist area and fired at random bystanders. Several officers were among those wounded, according to the broadcaster's account.
Breslow says the attacker wore military-style fatigues and carried a military-type long gun. Officers shot and wounded him during the confrontation. The report does not establish a motive.
Before switching to the police briefing, Breslow displays a statement from US Ambassador Tom Rose condemning the attack. The sequence keeps the street-level emergency and the official response together in a short bulletin.
The upload drew roughly 376,000 views in its first 11 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short.
