Mood rings, grown up: Lily Pebbles' jewellery line with Edge of Ember
Her '90s-inspired collection went live midweek, a few days after a 52-minute Rhodes trip with her friend Hannah.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
This is such a HUGE moment for me! 💍 I designed this! | Lily Pebbles
Twenty-one hours old and already the busiest thing on the channel: "This is such a HUGE moment for me! 💍 I designed this!" is Lily Pebbles walking through her own jewellery collection with Edge of Ember. She describes it as a modern take on '90s nostalgia, mood rings and playful hearts reworked alongside vintage-style pieces, and the tags fill in the details: garnet, labradorite, lucky clovers, crawler earrings, stacking rings and a friendship necklace. The video mixes the design process with the shoot day, and it is a paid partnership, as she says plainly.
The launch came in three steps: a short teaser on October 5, the walkthrough, and a second short announcing the collection was live. It is a long way from the channel's usual rhythm of slow Sunday vlogs, and for a creator who calls herself the OG Comfort Creator, it reads like a personal milestone more than a sales push.
The week's most watched upload, though, is the Sunday vlog. "PINCH ME! Did this really happen?!" takes her friend Hannah along on a work trip to Rhodes: tennis, olive oil tasting, the old town, and a lot of catching up without the kids. It passed 50,000 views, and the comments are mostly about Hannah. Viewers enjoyed hearing her talk about her career, several ask for a Foggy Mornings episode with her, and more than one spares a thought for Rich, left at home.
Overall the channel ran slower than usual, at about half its normal daily pace, with subscribers holding at 460,000. Among the fashion and shopping channels near her size, most were below their own usual pace too, while The Reynolds Recommend had by far the busiest week.
