Tithing, the afterlife and a cooled marriage: Craig Groeschel opens 'Asking for a Friend'
The Sunday message tackles six questions people rarely ask out loud, and its chapters are now turning into stand-alone videos through the week.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
You’re Not the Only One Wondering This
Life.Church started a new series by doing something churches don't often do from the stage: reading out the questions people would rather type into a search bar. "You're Not the Only One Wondering This" opens Asking for a Friend, and Pastor Craig Groeschel works through a list that runs from lust and tithing to what happens after death, how to know you are saved, and what to do when you no longer love your spouse.
It is the week's clear leader, close to 95,000 views after seven days, and the channel spent the rest of the week cutting it into pieces. "Settling for Less Than God Has for You" and "What Do I Do If I Don't Love My Spouse Anymore?" are both chapters of that Sunday message given their own upload, and the marriage one is the quickest of the newer videos. It touched a nerve in the main sermon's comments too, where one of the most liked is a long, raw account from a husband for whom that part was hard to watch. Elsewhere viewers answer the pastor's own prompt about what they would ask God, and a few simply thank him for handling an awkward first question with some humor.
Pastor Amy Groeschel added her Closer series, using one woman's story about grace after choices that left her feeling far from God.
Views ran a little under the channel's usual pace, and the subscriber count held where it was. In its faith group, Paul Bernard II had another huge week, while CBN ran well above its norm.

What viewers say
Pastor Craig,
1st off I think you handled the first question impeccably! Enough humor to make a difficult & awkward subject way easier then many could have, so kudos to you lol you covered a question I had & helped me understand what my next step should be so many thanks. BTW you are looking pretty dapper & I don't suppose anybody's day has been made worse by hearing that so consider yourself officially complimented. I enjoyed the sermon but I'm not surprised because you're the best at what you do(see the above comment about one's day not bettered by a compliment lol)! May God bless you and …@moxieregudon143Read it all on YouTubeIf you could ask God one question, funny or serious, what would it be?
