A rare rocky super-Earth carries Kids Learning Tube's week off
Twelve days old, the space song has passed 32,000 views, with a gas giant and a newly found exoplanet close behind.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
This Rocky Super Earth Is Very Rare! | KLT
No new uploads. KLT, the channel long known as Kids Learning Tube, usually promises a fresh video every Saturday, but this week nothing went up, and its recent space series kept things moving instead.
The busiest video right now is the newest of the run, "This Rocky Super Earth Is Very Rare! | KLT", posted twelve days ago. It is drawing a little over 4,000 views a day, more than either of its older siblings. Behind it sit "This Gas Giant Has A Unique Secret! | KLT", about a month old and past 130,000 views, and "A New Exoplanet Was Discovered! | KLT" from mid-August, the most watched of the three so far. All three are planet songs, part of the astronomy corner the channel has built with its own music and animation.
Among the science channels nearest KLT in size, Deep Look and Dr Ben Miles are the ones having the big stretch, both well above their usual daily pace, while Astrum and CrunchLabs run a touch quieter than normal. KLT sits fourth by subscribers in that group, with more than 2.7 million.
For a channel built on catchy lessons about the solar system and beyond, a pause still sounds like planets.
