Way of the Hunter 2 lands, and KG Gaming goes exploring on day one

Exploring the New Way of the Hunter 2!
Way of the Hunter 2 came out on October 2, and Kendall Gray was there the same day. "Exploring the New Way of the Hunter 2!" is exactly what it sounds like: a first wander through the sequel, edited by Ryan Larkins, with a short announcing the release posted alongside it. Those two were the whole week.
The long video did the heavy lifting, picking up more than half its views in its first 24 hours and still moving fastest of anything on the channel. Its comment section turned into a help desk. Several viewers point out that the shop, storage and sleep options sit right in the pause menu once you are near the cabin, so there is no need to go hunting for them. Others wonder whether trophies can be mounted in the lodge, and a few real-life hunters weigh in on how the .338 performs compared with the game. The most liked comment has nothing to do with the game at all: it is a plea for KG to bring back his podcast.
The pull of theHunter: Call of the Wild has not gone anywhere. "I Hunted The Great One Red Deer in Hunter Call of the Wild!", four weeks old and past half a million views, is still the channel's second busiest video, and plenty of commenters under the new game ask him to keep going in the old one, whitetail deer especially.
Overall the channel ran a little below its usual daily pace. That was the norm among similar strategy and simulation channels this week, where Squirrel held close to its usual level and most others, PragMagik and DruuuWu among them, sat well under theirs.
