Every shiny before each rank: Johnstone's three-hour Legends Z-A quest, dedicated to his mom
The two-month-old Pokémon Legends: Z-A video has passed 1.7 million views, and it carries the channel through a week without new uploads.

I Caught Every Shiny Pokemon Before Each Rank (Legends ZA)
Johnstone put nothing new up this week, so the channel ran on a video he once called the longest adventure he had ever gone on. "I Caught Every Shiny Pokemon Before Each Rank (Legends ZA)" began with a letdown. After earning the Shiny Charm in his first run of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, he found shiny hunting no longer felt special. So he started a fresh save and refused to climb a single rank in the Z-A Royale until every shiny was caught.
The chapters walk from Rank Z down to Rank B, with a stop marked "A New Year" along the way. The video runs close to three hours, and he dedicates it to his mom.
Two older quests sit right behind it: his Unova shiny dex from last year and a complete Pokémon Emerald living dex, now well past five million views.
Without a new upload, daily views are running below their usual level, and subscribers are still arriving at a slow, steady pace. Most channels around his size in strategy and role-playing games are also below their usual pace. PragMagik and iSorrowproductions both had big weeks anyway.
