My Daughter Survives WORLD’S TINIEST SCHOOL

Show-and-tell settles a family question. Salish Matter brings foster puppy Domino into her miniature classroom and makes her case for keeping the dog, noting that "my dad's actually the only one that doesn't really want to keep her." Her mother, Lauren, ends the debate: "We're keeping her."

Jordan Matter takes the news with a shrug and a count: "I guess we have three dogs and we foster-failed twice now."

That moment sits in the middle of "My Daughter Survives WORLD'S TINIEST SCHOOL," which drew about 2.9 million views in its first 13 hours. The school is a set built inside a studio, a little red schoolhouse with a sign reading "EST 1898" and hallways barely wide enough to turn around in. The stakes are domestic. Salish has twelve grade challenges ahead of her, and if she fails three or steps outside, her dad wins the right to drive her to school daily.

The grades are compact too. Younger kids help her clear a locker's worth of ball-pit balls. Dodgeball in a hallway this narrow pits Salish and Milana against two boys. Lunch is Chipotle eaten under a 65-decibel limit. Oscar joins her to make slime long enough to stretch the length of the school without touching the floor, a pass that needs slow-motion review.

Then Anna McNulty, the contortionist and cheerleader, demonstrates a cheer routine for Salish to copy. Salish says she won't quit, and then chooses to take the fail for eighth grade anyway.

School has been good ground for this channel. "My Daughter Survives WORLD'S STRICTEST SCHOOL" and the every-grade-in-24-hours challenge both rank among its most watched videos. This time the school is smaller, and the class pet came home for good.
